Dr. Stanford Owen is the founder and developer of the PrescriptFit Medical Nutrition System.  He is a native of South Louisiana who practices internal medicine and nutritional health on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. 

 

Dr. Owen is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Physical Nutrition Specialists, and member of multiple professional and civic organizations including the Obesity Society, the American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology, and the Mississippi and Louisiana State Medical Societies.  Dr. Owen has published numerous books and peer-reviewed professional articles relating to his clinical practice and research work, both of which focus on better health through improved nutrition.
