Dr. Hilary Stephen Watson
As one of the Northshore’s longest serving urologists, Dr. Stephen Watson is certified by the American Board of Urology and the National Board of Physicians & Surgeons. Dr. Watson is gratified to help adult patients of both sexes defeat urology problems.
Leaning on his extensive background in surgical urology, much of Dr. Watson’s work now involves outpatient clinical care in the office setting. He is pleased to now be able to devote more time and resources to office-based urology care. Dr. Watson takes time to thoroughly listen to each patient's concerns, review any associated medical information, perform any necessary examination or test, and discuss his findings and recommendations with patients in a manner understood by everyone.
Dr. Watson is an excellent teacher with the ability to identify origins of urology problems and plainly explain options for evaluation and treatment, even for patients who may not have medical backgrounds. Accordingly he holds the highest possible overall patient satisfaction rating with his philosophy in providing exceptional patient care consistent with the spirit of the proverb .. Dr. Watson’s is a Northshore native who was born in Baton Rouge. Having grown up on his family's dairy farm in Montpelier, Louisiana, he's no stranger to long days and 'real' work. His parents, grandparents and siblings all worked in teaching professions in St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, St. Helena, and Livingston Parishes. Dr. Watson attended Natalbany Christian School, Oak Forest Academy in Amite, Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, and completed the academically competitive Medical Education Reinforcement and Enrichment Program at Tulane University in New Orleans.
Dr. Watson graduated from Centenary College of Louisiana with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology then attended Louisiana State University School of Medicine where he received his medical doctorate degree. He rotated with the urology department at the University of Mississippi before completing a six-year post-doctoral surgery and urology residency at institutions including Scott and White Clinic, Texas A&M College of Medicine, Boston Children's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and Olin E. Teague Veterans Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Watson has performed clinical research in a number of urology specialty disciplines including prostatitis, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), voiding dysfunction, urinary incontinence, bladder pathology, neurogenic bladder dysfunction, cystitis, urodynamics, urinary diversion, prostate cancer, flow cytometry, reconstructive urology and others. He is the author of scientific papers published in the internationally acclaimed Journal of Urology and other peer reviewed medical journals, authoring and presenting research papers concerning wide-ranging urological topics at medical education meetings around the nation. Dr. Watson is the recipient of academic honors, including awards from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Texas Medical Association, the Southern Medical Association, Texas A&M College of Medicine, the Texas Urological Association, and other medical organizations.
For his scholarship, Dr. Watson was honored with membership in the nation's preeminent academic medical organization, the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He has held memberships with American Urological Association, the Sexual Medicine Society of North America, the International Society of Sexual Medicine the American Medical Association, and the Louisiana and Texas Urological Societies.
Dr. Watson began his urology practice with Ochsner Clinic in Baton Rouge. He also served with Dr. Robert Kidd at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond prior to establishing Northlake Urology with partner Dr. Harold Neitzschman. Dr. Neitzschman is also one of the Northshore's most distinguished and longest serving urologists.

He introduced advanced reconstructive surgical procedures to the Northshore area years ago and prides himself in helping patients understand and eliminate urology problems. Dr. Watson has been certified and re-certified by the American Board of Urology as well as the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons and welcomes new patients.
Dr. Hal Neitzschman
Dr. Hal Neitzschman has served thousands of Northshore Urology patients in over 20 years of dedicated service. He is a highly qualified and very experienced urologic surgeon, certified by the American Board of Urology as well as the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. He maintains six hospital affiliations, serving in leadership roles and providing top-of-class surgical and medical care to our patients across the Northshore today.
Mr. Nathan Freeman
As one of the areas very best Physician Assistants, Nathan Freeman has served patients across the Northshore area for nearly 20 years. He is an affable patient favorite who has worked with specialty physicians in Cardiology, Urology, Family Medicine and Emergency Care.
